  "content":"<p>I've been on the Fediverse since <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/objects/34K4N812qMw\">January 2017</a>. I initially ran a single-user instance of Mastodon. In <a href=\"https://github.com/toddsundsted/ktistec/commit/915689d6\">March 2020</a> I started to write <a href=\"https://github.com/toddsundsted/ktistec\">Ktistec</a>, my own implementation of an <a href=\"https://www.w3.org/TR/activitypub/\">ActivityPub</a> server in <a href=\"https://crystal-lang.org/\">Crystal</a> (a language with the ergonomics of Ruby but the speed of Go) because I wanted something more supportive of writing. This <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/introduction\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#introduction</a> was written and published on <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/\">Epiktistes</a>, my Ktistec instance.</p><p>I'm an Engineer by training but now I run teams for companies in climate-tech.</p><p>I love <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/music\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#music</a>, <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/sciencefiction\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#sciencefiction</a> and <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/fantasy\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#fantasy</a> literature (yes, I'm an R. A. Lafferty fan), attend fan conventions like <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/worldcon\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#worldcon</a> and <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/dragoncon\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#dragoncon</a>, and do regular <a href=\"https://epiktistes.com/tags/weightlifting\" class=\"hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#weightlifting</a>.
