Epiktistes

Epiktistes is my home in the Fediverse. It is an instance of Ktistec, a single-user ActivityPub server like Mastodon, but with fewer users and fewer commits. Here's my introduction (last updated early-2025).

reading “π is the minimum value for pi” by c. l. adler and james tanton. the basic idea is that the value of pi depends on the metric used but the minimum value of pi is the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle—in other words π (3.14…)
